MLS Commissioner Don Garber Headlines This Weekend's Edition of SBR

Make sure to join us this weekend as I go one-on-one with MLS Commissioner Don Garber. Garber has been MLS Commissioner since 1999 after spending 16 years in the NFL's league office where he focused primarily on international relations for the league.
Garber has overseen a period of tremendous growth with franchise values skyrocketing from $10M in 2005 to over $40M today. He's also overseen the construction of soccer-specific stadiums that seat 18,000-27,000 people - over half of the teams in the league play in stadiums built for soccer.
From Oscar De La Hoya to Drew Carey to Paul Allen, the league has attracted a variety of stable ownership groups.
Seven cities are vying for two expansion spots in the league.
Lots to discuss with Don Garber on this weekend's edition of Sports Business Radio.
I'll also have some sharp opinions about ABC's decision to leave last weekend's NASCAR race with 34 laps remaining to send the race to ESPN2 and broadcast "America's Funniest Home Videos" instead.
Talk to you this weekend.
