NFL Economics 101

If you missed my conversation with Yahoo! Sports NFL reporter Charles Robinson from this past weekend, I invite you to listen to it ON DEMAND by clicking here.

We're all basking in the glory of the NFL Playoffs, but if you look ahead to 2010 (uncapped season) and 2011 (likely work stoppage), you might get sick to your stomach.

There's billions of dollars at stake (NFL is a $16B business) and the divide between the NFL owners and players is getting wider by the day.

Enjoy Super Bowl 44 because the NFL will have an economic shift starting next season and that shift will likely affect your favorite team.
